Well, my class is going to watch the movie, “Good Night, and Good Luck” in class tomorrow and I can honestly say that I really don’t know what the movie will be about.  We were supposed to read a review on the movie and quite honest, I think it got me more confused than anything else.  I did start thinking however, about what movie I might review for my next paper.  As usual I am torn between many thoughts but it’s only because I always happen to have really good possibilities.  In some ways I wish that our teacher would give us more boring topics because at least then I might know what to choose, but I guess I’m also happy that I get to write about something that interests me because it makes the papers flow.  For this review paper that I am going to be writing I am contemplating a few different movies.  I am torn between, “Conspiracy Theory,” “The Truman Show,” and “Frequency.”  “Conspiracy Theory,” with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts is about a man who always has these ideas in his head about conspiracies that are out there.  He never seems to be accurate exept for one of his theories.  He is one of the people who has gotten tested for a project.  The people who used him as a test subject wanted to see if they could take a regular man and turn him into an assassin.  He is supposed to kill Julia Roberts father, but instead can’t do it and becomes friends with him to protect him.  When the father is killed by someone else, Mel Gibson makes it a point to protect Julia Roberts.  As you can all guess, he falls in love with her, but they are now being chased by the people who tested Mel Gibson.  “The Truman Show” with Jim Carrey is about a man who is born and raised as a television show.  People from a television show adopted him and made up an entire television show that was based around his life.  He was never told that he was on a television show but people always tried to warn him.  When he eventually figures out that something isn’t right, he tries to escape his made up world.  Finally, “Frequency” with Dennis Quade and Jim Caviezel is about a son who tries to save his father from dying.  During a freakish event a son is able to speak to his father in the past.  When he finally warns him that he will die in a fire and saves his life, a turn of events occurs.  Now his mother is dead.  She was supposed to be taken home from work (as a nurse) and driven home but because her husband never died, she saves someone she shouldn’t have saved.  The man she saved was a murderer and because they have changed the past, the son and father must try to stop the man who will kill the mother.  All of these movies are some of my favorites.  I’m not sure which one to choose and it would be helpful if I got some feedback.  If you have any comments please help me.
